The Flyers have played nine teams ranked as #6; three were in the UD Arena. The three games in the UD Arena were:

December 5 1974 - v. Louisville; Flyers lose 74-76

February 25, 1976 - v. Notre Dame; Flyers lose 79-85

December 9, 1978 - v. Michigan; Flyers lose 61-66

The Flyers enter the game 10-1 (only loss to George Mason) and Pitt comes to game undefeated at 11-0

Flyers Latest Road Kill - #11 Louisville


The Flyers did it again at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky, Saturday as they defeated #11 Louisville behind Brian Roberts 28 points. It was a total Flyer team win as they win three road games in 10 days. Flyer victories over Miami (OH) and Holy Cross made the win over the Cardinals so sweet!

Brian Roberts made the winning shot with 4 seconds to go in the Miami game. The Flyers had been down by 21 in the first half. Jimmy Binnie made the shot in the final minute to bring the Flyers within one.

Brandon Cramer - ESPN Academic All-American

Brandon Crammer from Toledo, Ohio named ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American . Cramer was first in the nation in all of Division I football. Cramer is a Pre-Med major.

Its worth the money to see Josh and the Flyers evaluated by the Sporting News staff. SN has Dayton to finish at #4 in the A-10 with X in the number one spot. SN does an excellent job of rating the other conferences as well in this pre-season review.

See #14 Women Flyer Volleyball Free on Saturday!


If you have a UD Flyer Football ticket this Saturday when the Flyers take on Davidson you can see the nationally ranked #14 UD women's volleyball team take on Charlotte for free at 5PM in the Frericks center. The UD Volleyball team will assist with the coin toss at the UD football game.
